Just a Few of Cloudy's Favorite Things

Although Cloudy can be skittish, she's actually a very low-key cat. She prefers to live a quiet, lazy life, and is happiest when she can spend the day alternating between snoozing and being doted on by me.

Cloudy Likes:

• Lounging on my bed
• Lounging on the couch
• Lounging anywhere, really
• Inaba Churu lickable cat treats (I call them "chicken tubes," and cats are obsessed with them)
• Tummy rubs
• Chin skritches
• Butt skritches
• Her Fussie Cat brand wet food. However, as the brand's name would suggest, Cloudy is particular about which varieties she'll eat:
  • She'll only eat the seafood formulas. Some of her favorites--
  • Tuna with chicken
  • Tuna with shrimp
  • Tuna with anchovies
  • Tuna with ocean fish
  • She will NOT eat any chicken or beef formulas that don't include seafood. She just turns up her nose at them!
• Being brushed
• Powdered cheese from any cheesy snack (especially Jax brand cheese puffs)
• Watching pigeons from my bedroom window
• Making biscuits on soft surfaces, like super plush microfiber blankets
• Her cat sitter, Alice
• Sharpening her claws on my doorframes
• Scratching one specific corner of my living room area rug
• Chasing bugs
• Lying on my bed with me

Cloudy Doesn't Like:

• Loud noises
• Storms
• When I'm away on a trip
• Being picked up (even if it leads to something she likes, like brushing or cuddling)
• When people come over
• Using the really cute cactus-shaped scratching post I bought for her
• Using the fancy cat tree I bought for her
• When I have the nerve to be in a room she wants to be in alone.
• Most toys (she is afraid of them).
